The scientific director of the Camel Reproduction Centre Lulu Skidmore was jubilant about this progress. Skidmore thought that "This significant breakthrough in our research program gives a means of preserving the valuable genetics of our elite racing and milk-producing camels in the future." Dubai scientists expect that Injaz will live longer than Dolly the Sheep who was born in Edinburgh in 1996, but only lived for 6 years.
